I want to thank Cody Skinner, and the entire team at Iowa Land Company, for their help selling my farmland in Grundy County Iowa. As an absentee landowner I had many questions and concerns about market conditions and the various methods and strategies of selling Iowa farmland. Cody provided detailed market analysis and comparable sales information (over several years) without imposing any pressure to sell. When I decided it was time to make the sale Cody explained various sale strategies and the pros and cons of each alternative. I decided a live auction would be the best choice and Cody quickly began the advertising process. I was impressed by the quality of the aerial photographs, flyover videos, and narratives produced by Iowa Land Company. These were used to produce postal mailings, handouts, videos on their website, and even a YouTube video. I was kept up to date on all pre-sale activities and all questions, concerns, and requests for needed information were quickly resolved via text and/or email. Cody assembled a group of interested buyers and organized a live auction at the local American Legion in Conrad. I was provided with real time updates throughout the auction process, and Cody sent me a video of the entire auction, as I was not able to be there in person. Cody followed up on post-sale activities ensuring all paperwork was completed and funds were received. There were no surprises and the selling process was easy, comprehensive, and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Iowa Land Company and will use them for any questions or concerns I have regarding Iowa farmland in the future.

When selling out-of-state property, problems can arise from not knowing the people who are selling the property, signing papers, updating the abstract and how to check on the progress of the sale. I did research real estate brokers in the area and decided on Cody Skinner with Iowa Land Company. It is a decision that I have never regretted! Cody was available to answer all my concerns and questions. With all of the questions I had from day one, Cody always called me or text me in a timely and courteous manner. If he did not know the answer, he did his research and let me know in a day or so. Before the property went on the market, he let me see the pictures of how the land was advertised. I was amazed at the clarity and beauty of the photos! A drone was used to show various views of the property. The property did not stay on the market for long, about a week, and a couple of people wanted it. Cody helped me to set a plan in motion for choosing the best offer. Any changes I wanted in this contract, he was willing to work with me. He never demanded that I do it his way. They provided an excellent service and communicated very clearly with us about our property, offered great advice as well and eventually helped us sell and close our farmland in Dayton.
