Great place for a 3 mile hike! Lots of different birds. The short nature trail is fun but the metal platform that you walk on is too noisy and alerts the wildlife.

We absolutely adore Volo Bog, it's a complete gem. They have trails and (in non pandemic times) you can walk a floating path through the actual bog. There is plenty of shade, lots of sun, and a ton of informational stopping points in all areas. The visitor center is excellent. There are plenty of areas to picnic, with lots of seating. It was very easy for us to cater our visit to our baby, as we could have a nice picnic in the shade and then go on a walk once he got sleepy. Chipmunk woods is a magical addition that's great for kiddos who are a bit older!

Nice trails to walk around. The floating paths feel a bit weird but fun to walk one. Especially with all the high plants lining them.

Really nice and peaceful place to get away from all the commotion. Less than two hours to go all the way around.. I will definitely come back here again!
