Spicy food lovers - look no further! By spicy I mean hot spicy, that is. Hehe. I, myself, LOVE hot-spicy food and, by default, I loved it! The dishes have the right amount of spices and the aromatics are not too overpowering. This totally allows the quality of the food to take the center stage to rise and shine!

Good food, like the lamb or beef and rice dishes. Very big portions, so come here when you have an empty stomach. Not visually appealing, but the food and service are much better than anticipated. Overall, pretty good.

UNFORTUNATELY EXOTIC DISH LIKE GOAT MEAT IN A LOT OF AFRICAN RESTAURANTS IS VERY DRY SINCE ITS NOT USUALLY A DELIVER TYPE MEAL .I ORDERED IT ONLINE ON POSTMATES YESTERDAY. IT WAS THE BEST COOKED TO PERFECTION MEAT AND RICE WITH SALAD AND TWO TROPICAL DRINKS Cost exactly 20.65 all included This is the only Somali eatery that I know in LA RZED

today i tried the best Goat and Lamb Kabsah with rice, the whole experience is unique, starting with the Somali Tea with spice and the vegetables soup is amazing and it comes with Banana and water and the rice comes with spicy hot sauce, i really enjoyed it and strongly recommend it

Don't turn away from this restaurant because of appearances. It does not look like much on the outside and not better on the inside. They do get an 'A' rating from the Health Department. So the restaurant is clean. It just doesn't have the trendy or chic vibe in the atmosphere. The restaurant has some really good ethnic food though. And the staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is limited (chicken, beef, goat, fish & rice). But the food is really good quality and fresh. And they say to eat your banana with your meal. The banana is not a starter or dessert. I ordered the goat, rice & soup and received a great meal.

During our trip to California we had the chance to check out this gem. Banadir restaurant was such a great experience. The food was incredible! so good that we forgot to add the moos iyo basbaas lol that's when you know its bomb. The staff were supper kind and accommodating. I can't wait to come back and eat here. 10/10
