I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that these reviews are based on the “hype” that social media created. This is a small business that received unexpected attention. Nobody forced y’all to stand in line and wait. You chose to wait. It’s a small business. Allow this business to adjust and figure out a solution to the problem social media created. Also, suggesting another restaurant under a review is tacky. If you don’t like the food, move on.

Very good, I ordered the Egussi, mixed meat stew, meat pie, and jollof rice. I really don't have anything to draw from because it was my first time ordering Nigerian food from a restaurant but I liked everything that I ordered. In a time when small businesses could really use our patronage, I would definitely return and try some other items on Veronica's menu.

It took a long time for them to prepare the food, but it is totally the wait. Thank you Veronica’s Kitchen for such delicious food.

The restaurant itself was a little run down looking. Both outside and inside - inside because I suppose due to covid. Nevertheless, that’s not here nor there since my only option was to get take out and eat in my hotel. Now let’s get to the actual important stuff - the service, the staff, and the food! I thought the staff and service were great! The young man who took my order complimented my knowledge of the food and made me feel relatively welcome to the establishment! The woman who took payment was friendly and made me feel happy leaving the restraint with my order. Now let’s get to the actual order and the quality of the food. For one, I had ordered the Fufu and some soup due to popular TikTok trends. The food did not disappoint and I see where the hype comes from! The fufu was very soft and fun to eat, while the soup had great flavor; I added some tripe in there and the combination was delightful. I could tell it was very fresh because after a 30 minute drive back to my hotel, the food was still hot! I did appreciate that because nobody wants cold food. So overall, if I visit LA again, I would definitely go back and get the same order!
