For months, I have been experiencing pain in my right upper arm near bicep, and it's been traveling from the elbow, back up to the shoulder and the neck. And it's just been getting worse with everything I do. It started out, I think, with stress, dealing with some family issues. Swinging kettle bells, gardening, computer use, cooking, etc. didn't help matters. Well, I just got home from my first visit, and I am so hopeful based on my first appointment results. When I walked in, i couldn't lift my arm above my waist. This picture was taken after my visit, outside of Michael Johnson's parking lot. I still have several visits to go, but I wish I had done this months ago. Finding the right treatment for oneself is very important. As a Reiki Master/Practitioner, alternative treatments aren't for everyone, but if you haven't tried acupuncture before, give Michael a shot - or rather, let him give you a \shot\ with his awesome needles. Super friendly people, not pushy at all. I am so glad I finally took the plunge!

Just awesome!!!!!!! I have been suffering from middle back pain for over 10 years. Been to chiropractors, doctors, pills, stretching, PT drawings, etc... Michael right away saw that I was bound up in the middle area by muscle locking up my spine like a fist gripping it. He explained to me what was going on and how acupuncture would help by creating little injuries so to speak that allows the blood flow to go to those areas and leave the effected area if I am correct. All I can say is that I started to get relief within 2 visits. They are very welcoming and make you feel at home here. I am glad I found them and will continue treatment. I wish I would have pursued this avenue sooner.

Mike is the only acupuncturist I will see in Salem! His and his staff's level of professionalism and care have helped me with multiple sports-related injuries. I've learned that when I start having pain, scheduling with Innerhealth is my best move to get back on track!
