Wow, where do I begin? To start I must say that functional medicine has always been something I’ve supported believed in, now more so than ever since it has hands down saved my life! Dr. Scott is without a doubt the most compassionate, selfless and knowledgeable human being I’ve ever had the privilege of collaborating with. With his guidance and constant reassurance and my persistentence and determination in the last 6 months being on this “anti-inflammatory regiment” he more or less customized for me I have dropped the remaining 40 lbs of body fat getting back down to my goal weight of 190 lbs; with being 270 lbs at my heaviest. But that’s just half of what he has helped me achieve. I have survived 3.5 years of ongoing mental health issues and didn’t have any success once so ever with the “traditional” medicine approach. With that being said I was brought to light of what’s called a “leaky gut” and with research I found Dr. Scott and the rest is history. I highly recommend his practice and what he brings to the table!

As someone who suffered from debilitating gut issues for years and went to numerous doctors with no solutions in sight, I cannot thank Dr. Scott enough for finally giving me my life back. If you are looking for a practice that actually cares about your wellness and always has your best interests in mind, look no further. Dr. Scott is a one-of-a-kind practitioner, and I am so happy to have found him and his team!

I am so happy to have found this place and Dr. Beyer. It's been a journey and continues to be one, but I have learned so much on the many interactions between different parts of the body where you may not think one has anything to do with the other, but it does! I suffer from IBS and other gut-related symptoms and have learned so much over the past 6 months about improving my diet with anti-inflammatory foods and finding a good balance between strictly avoiding \problem\ foods and indulging once in a while. The diagnostic tests that are done at baseline as well as others that are recommended throughout the sessions really opened my eyes to different aspects of my health. I learned i was deficient in certain nutrients and vitamins, which i don't think i ever would have known had i not gotten these specific tests done (which would not normally be recommended by your primary care doctor). Dr. Beyer is a great educator and is truly genuine about wanting you to improve and feel the best you can. He spends time with you (time that you will never get with a traditional doctor) and answers all of your questions and never makes you feel rushed. If one thing doesn't work well, he always has alternative options to try. I honestly learned something new at each session I had. I think there is definitely a place for traditional medicine but i feel like my experiences with integrative/functional medicine has been eye opening and a much needed supplement to the care i was receiving from traditional medicine. The frequency of visits holds you accountable to make the changes that are suggested, something that i know has helped me throughout my journey. Don't hesitate to try this place out!

I couldn't be happier with my first visit to see Dr. Holmes. I brought my daughter (2 years old) due to a candida overgrowth problem and Dr. Holmes was quick to identify the root cause. I am feeling wonderful today now that we have a plan in place. Dr. Holmes really took her time with me, answered all my questions, and is a very caring, genuine and knowledgeable person. She's also great with kids!
