Good for kids
We absolutely loved this campground. Offers great views of the landscape around and is a brilliant place to catch sunrise/sunset/night sky. The shade canopies for the picnic tables are very helpful. The restrooms and paid showers are decent too.

Great setting for a campground with amazing views for sunrise and sunset. The only reason there isn’t five stars, is because the lack of boundaries set for each campground. We returned from a long day of hiking and wanted to park the RV and relax and hydrate. Someone had and RV, a car dolly, and their RV parked taking up part of my space. He moved after I spoke with him, but it would be nice to drop some white or yellow lines so we know. The pay showers weren’t the best, but they worked so bring quarters. They do have a change machine that takes up to a 20. Make sure if you have a DSLR to do some long exposure photos of the stars and mountains. I will add those once back at my MacBook. They are stunning.
Good overnight stopping place. We got electric site. They have showers. Perfect for a day in the Badlands. Half price if you have an access card.
Great campground and very friendly and accomadating staff. Cedar pass lodge is just a short walk away and offers great Sioux tacos. The showers are 8 min for 1.00 and are warm and clean. The views are amazing especially in the morning or the evening. The layout and the way you park your RV are a little different than most parks, but it didn't really bother us as we had a small travel trailer.
This was a nice campground that we stayed at inside the park! There wasn’t anyone to check in with so it was on the honor system, which worked well. They had electric and water with a dump station on the way out. It was nice and quiet with some great views!
Absolutely amazing! Campground was very nice. I recommend getting out of the campground when it gets dark to look at there stars! Unlike anything I've ever seen!
Great location to visit the beautiful badlands! Campground showers are extremely primitive quarter operated. Only a handful of electric hookup RV sites. Hardly any trees. One of the water fountains was broken. Good spot for 1 night just to see the park. If you want amenities, go to the nearby sites or KOA outside the park.
We stayed here and loved it. Has electric hookups, no water or sewer connections at each site. There is a dump station AND a water station to fill your tanks with potable water. Rustic campground, but totally perfect if you're looking to be right inside the park!!
