My 9th grader started at traditional HS (Thomas Jefferson) and it wasn't going well due to social issues. So we decided to transition to the Internet Academy (IA) mid-year. It was a smooth transition and it's gone very well. My daughter has a clear outline of what's expected, timelines, etc. The staff has been very responsive and supportive of my concerns/questions. We plan to continue with IA through high school graduation.

Easily one of the best online schools in the area but they need math teachers that are more attentive to their course and how most students are having a hard time with how the math is being taught. Also the teachers should have to regularly update their lessons and make sure the information is up to date because sometimes it is not.
Not teaching me much. I am currently enrolled in Internet Academy for the course Algebra 2. I certainly do not recommend this, I recommend something more friendly to the user, such as Khan Academy. My experience is just reading 20-30 pages of text, then taking a test and doing that about forever. Internet Academy may be more helpful in other categories but certainly not math. Other websites also explain to you in detail what you did wrong, but on Internet Academy, you are just told the right answer and left to wonder what you did wrong. Some easy things are being spread through many pages of text and being complicated when I can search it on Google and get a short and easy tutorial, but I shouldn't be doing that because this online course should be teaching me, not making me fetch answers. If you're willing to fetch answers for the teaching platform, that should be TEACHING you, then go ahead and enroll. To insert your grades you must put your percentage of correct answers in submission form to send to the teacher and then you have to say what you got wrong, when you can't copy a problem from the test, and then you sit and wonder what you've done wrong when you were confident in the answer you chose.
Very disappointed... It isnt teaching me anything... I am student currently in algebra 2 taking their online course When I take tests sometimes I would see questions I wasn't taught. When I asked a teacher (will not say name) HE/SHE told me to go look online and didn't say where or what to search up. I managing to pass by asking people on yahoo answers how to do it however it should not be this way. I would much rather do khan academy since it is a more user friendly site and teaches you with videos that are easy to understand. This Might be a good option for other courses but I definitely do not recommend this for algebra 2
As far as my concern it is the best web designing and web development institute because of trainers and web staff . What trainings we take ,we get live projects to implement which we are being taught. campus interviews are arranged for students.
