If you're looking for a place to get fresh shrimp and chat with the shrimper, this place is not for you. It's a dock for the larger shrimp boats that freeze the shrimp as they're caught. The frozen shrimp are off-loaded into freezers and then put on trucks. However they do sell to anyone. Prices are not bad; on 10/7/2020 they were getting 3.50 a pound for 21-count shrimp. But they take only cash.

I love the shrimps and my costumer did to i all had one problem the 21/25 were a little old. I am with the Delcambre crab house and I am going back tomorrow morning for me some more. If mr joshes can get me a better price I might need 1000 #
