Visited a Hot tub sale. The roads had been nicely plowed and crews were doing their best job even with record snowfall.

The fair despite having Covid-19 was well set up and just a beautiful place to visit.

The Johnson county fair was very fun. First off it is free to everyone which is amazing. There were tons of animals including rabbits, sheep, dairy cows, beef cows, horses, pigs, goats and all kinds of birds. You could pet almost everything and it was very up close and personal. Some of the barns the animals were in have been around since the 50s so it was also interesting to see the buildings. They had rides of kids of all ages and games too. The tickets were 1 a piece or 20 for 30 tickets. They also had instead of a sandbox, a box filled with dried corn which proved very fun. They had great food everywhere you look and even fun competitions such as hay bail throwing. My favorite thing here was the butterfly garden. They had caterpillars outside and information all about the butterflies. Then when you went inside you could hold the butterflies and allow them to land on you. It was very fun and as an adult I can say I never did that before. Also the local firemen were there and gave you a chance to check out their fire truck. This was very cool for the kids. They also had an ambulance to check out as well as some other unique vehicles. Overall this was a really fun day for the family.
