It's baby bird season. Please speak to a volunteer before rescuing any baby birds off the ground. Fledglings may spend a few days on the ground before they can fly. The clinic is staffed entirely by volunteers so hours of operation may vary based on volunteer availability. Please leave a message with a callback number, and a volunteer will return your call. Messages are checked between 8 am and 6 pm daily.
They were very friendly and helpful, and while they don't take in the particular animal I was calling about, they did put me in touch with someone who did.
Great group. I found a wounded owl on the roadside. I called and left a message. Someone called me back in about ten minutes and guided me to one of their locations where someone started late to take in and care for the bird. They also advised me on how to safely catch the bird.
An injured owl landed on my porch. The staff walked me through how to catch it and take it to them. They then rehabilitated it and returned it to where we found it.
