Very interesting museum, telling the story of the local Ford factory and their contribution to WWII (building gliders). The centerpiece is a fully restored glider. It is very impressive. The staff was very friendly.

Needed more time, who knew!? We heard about the museum from and old neighbor. I grew up next to an orginal "rosie riveter". She welded the joints for the glider. We were a bit time crunched so will have to come back to Iron Mt and see more of this museum and the mine tour.

This was a very nice little museum. My grandfather lost both of his legs stepping onto a landmine in France in WWII, so it was a bit emotional for me. My husband and kids liked the history and the old cars were very cool.

We enjoyed our visit and learned a great deal. It illustrated how many were involved in the war effort and the skills and courage the young men had.
