This place is pretty awesome. I’ve done both the Muay Thai and grappling classes there for a while and never have I felt like I hadn’t worked hard. Great coaches, tough fighters, and an all around fantastic experience that can turn even the weakest of nerds into the most savage of beasts. Overall, my experience there was phenomenal, and I would recommend this gym to everyone I know.
I tried a few BJJ gyms in the area before becoming a member at IronHide, and it was an easy decision for me. The instructors are passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to getting the best from their students. They have a phenomenal BJJ lineage, so I know I'm learning tried and true techniques. I highly recommend this gym to anyone just starting out on their BJJ journey!
Just visited IronHide Academy this weekend and I was blown away by how welcoming they are. As a female BJJ practitioner you can get mixed reactions by this mostly male dominated sport, but everyone here was encouraging, welcoming and eager to spar with me. Loved my experience! I will be visiting again!
My kids love going over there to train! The instructors are professional and knowledgeable. Always the first martial arts school I recommend in Leesburg!
