Master Mike has a pure passion to teach and share his techniques. I started about 7 months ago and I truly feel like a better version of myself. My health and fitness are very high now; and my confidence is at an all time high. I look forward to continuing my journey in martial arts under his guidance. Thank you again Master Mike!

If you’re looking for the real deal, you’ve found it. It can be hard to determine who to entrust your practice to with so many options for teachers and styles out there right now in martial arts. Master Dunchok stays very true to the art, tradition, and lineage of Kuk Sool Kwan, which encompasses everything (and then some) of any other fighting style out there. I highly recommend him and his studio. Suitable for all levels, from novice to expert.

You will look long and far for a martial arts instructor with more extensive knowledge and experience relative to the martial arts than Master Mike Dunchok. He is absolutely unique. For over two decades, he has achieved excellence not only in martial arts, but in related subjects which deepen his understanding of these arts. Now with his Sixth Degree Black Belt in Kuk Sool Kwan (a varied martial art with both soft and hard aspects), a BA in Performing Arts, an MA in Chinese Medicine, and heading for a PhD in Classics, Philosophy, and Religious Studies at UCI, who better can pull together the disparate strands of these subjects into a profound picture of the human condition and paths to health? I have studied with Master Dunchok for two years. The benefits of the martial arts class have been immense in my personal and professional life. Not only the multi-dimensional training, but the camaraderie among students and Master Dunchok's sense of humor make each class a lot of fun. I cannot envision a time when I will not need this dojo. Highly recommended!
