Participating in the Mindfulness workshop with Vani was absolutely a delight! Not only did I feel so relaxed and calm by the end of the session, Vani's soothing style and guidance during the sand art session was amazing. I recommend this class to anyone who is learning to be present in the moment, and wants to learn the art of letting go.

I took my friend to this one-time introduction session. 10/10 recommend! If you have the time and means to dedicate an hour to focus on yourself, you are your most important investment. You will be able to observe, honor, and let go the tiniest aspects of your life you are needing to let go.

Absolutely loved the sand dot art class me and my boyfriend were able to recently attend! Vani is very knowledgeable and experienced in her teachings. The sand dot art is such a good practice to calm the mind down, find peace and mindfulness, and ease back into a parasympathetic state. It was also very nice to connect with my partner through breath, letting go, mindfulness, and the ancient sand dot art. Thank you Vani! We will definitely be back for more!

A fun way to let go of the busy life and focus on the present. I thoroughly enjoyed this sand art activity and created something beautiful in my first class. Thank you!

My sister signed us up for her Mindfulness Sand Dot Art at the Orange County Great Park & I really enjoyed it. She had soothing background music on while we created the art. We learned how it's more than just doing art & how it's about being mindful of your breathing, and applying the sand gently. This class was great for releasing all the built up stress and learning that its okay if its not perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to reduce their stress and enjoy taking the time to learn something new.

I highly suggest taking a class or attending an event with Vani! She was a guest for my employers event focused on R.E.S.T.: the Art of Letting Go and led the class in dot art at the end. Let me tell you, if you don't ever take time for yourself or have trouble sitting still, memory loss or brain fog, take the time to do this! You will not regret it. It is so important to take a mental break, have a creative outlet and bring back self-awareness. DOTURMINDS achieves all of this in one class! Highly recommend :)

I really enjoyed the experience of playing with lovely colors and textures in a low-stakes, mindful environment, knowing that everything would be wiped away at the end. Vani, the instructor, was warm and welcoming and seemed intimate with the art form. It was super satisfying using the back of a spoon to smooth sand into chubby petals, and the repetition sort of makes you slow down and pay attention. It made me feel calm and present to the beauty of the park that I had previously rushed through without noticing. Thanks Vani!

I often feel like I’m on a hamster’s wheel - trying to accomplish too many things in the course of a day. I read about Vani’s class and thought it might be an interesting and different way to take time for myself and just chill for an hour. It was such a pleasure to meet Vani. It’s clear she is a special and kind person who wants to bring serenity and joy to the people in her class through the creation of the sand art. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the class, but I left feeling I had made a connection with a lovely neighbor. As for creating the art, it was a truly unusual exercise in letting go of the need for perfection, because it all gets brushed away in the end. It was a unique experience and I look forward to learning new techniques for relaxation through the creation of art in future classes.
