You get what you pay for. Cons: Lack of plates in free weight area. Weight racks sit empty (see photos), 25 pound & 10 pound plates are non-existent. You have to wait and hunt them down. I've consistently brought up the issue with management, but nothing has been done about it for over a year. Members have POOR gym etiquette. They never re-rack weights or wipe off sweaty benches after use. Disgusting. Pros: Front desk is friendly. Cleaning crew does a good job of keeping the general facility clean.
I'm writing this knowing that during a pandemic, machines are less accessible and the way this location is operated is under appropriate safety regulations. On that note, I find it very comfortable to see that there are always employees consistently cleaning machines, and there is never a deficit of cleaning supplies to clean your own machines before and after you workout. I feel safe working out here, as the staff checks everyone who enters for symptoms without any kind of negativity when doing so. I really resonate with people's positive energy and because of Yadira and Preston's awesome vibes, I find it rather easy to come back and get right to my session each time I visit. Having previously been to the South Arlington location, I like this location MUCH more.
A Best Gym in Irving next to 24 Hour Fitness and Planet Fitness. Has had best Fitness Classes in Metroplex for Dance and Aerobics. Also a good UFC group of trainers for cross fit activities. A good group of gym friends that shares community.
All the equipment is either broken, missing weights, or out of service due to social distance. Crazy thing is, they block use of the WORKING machines for social distance, but leave the broken machines available for use... Bedford fitness connection is way better, sorry. Fix the problems.
