In-store shopping
This was a fun place to shop for kitchen and other household essential supplies. They have a very nice selection of Japanese ceramics that make nice gifts. I plan to go back after the stay-at-home pandemic restrictions are over and take more time to browse and check out all the useful little things you find you didn't know you couldn't live without. I was delighted to find the soup spoons that are indented so that you can hang them on the side of the bowl of your ramen. How many times have you had your soup spoon go sliding down under the soup and you have to fish it out? These are beautiful modern-style two-toned black and red. Serendipity awaits. It's a very busy store so give yourself time to look around the narrow aisles between jam-packed shelves of useful and/or beautiful and reasonably price merchandise. Other reviewer said that you need cash but I was able to pay with a credit card. Like all other places, cash is required for lottery tickets which is one reason they are so busy. Lots of folks buying lottery tickets and also Chinese New's red envelopes and red envelopes for all occasions of giving gifts of fresh green bills.

Great selection and prices for housewares...
Large asian housewares store with good variety and low prices, especially the kitchen stuff. Can get a large variety of useful kitchen things (and a lot you might recognize from your mom's kitchen) for a few bucks. Generally has had at least a version of any other houseware I've stopped to look for (organization, bathroom, etc). I don't normally leave reviews but I've been using this store regularly since I moved to the neighborhood a year ago and noticed the low reviews due to what looks like a single bad personal experience, thought I would leave a good one to help counterbalance a little since I've never had an issue and it's really a useful neighborhood store. Staff can be a bit brusque when busy maybe, I just go in, get my stuff and leave. I'm polite and I've never had any trouble. The prices are very good, be prepared to pay cash.
I like this place. Good selection of goods, especially kitchen stuff. Nice staff. I go there a lot
Would not go there if it was the last store on Irving street. They overcharged 2.00 from my wife. The recipe was wrong, over charge one item. Beware, you leave the store and go back. The female worker acted like my wife was lying. I watch the exchange. We will not go back. There is no real customer service!! Update ...30 minutes later my wife called the store and talked to a female and explained the problem. They when back and forth. The lady told my wife to return to the store for refund. At the store the bad store lady came out again and after three time going over the recipe, they give my wife the over charged amount with the Taxes layed on one item. My wife told them your short on the tax. They finally give it. Would I go to this store again. No, I recommend any other store on Irving St. I think these store folks have a problem with Asians. My wife said friend of hers didn't like the attitude of the employees. asian on Asian .
Unsure why this has low ratings. The owners are very friendly and helpful, especially when I said I just moved to the neighborhood. Not everything is high quality, but the price matches the quality so they're fair!
Sweet people, good selection of low-cost stuff, also, Lotto Tickets!
Bad Customer Service, very rude worker.
