This place was a great experience. The server was exceptional and we had a really great time with him. I have some cucumber sake that was the most refreshing drink ever!!! I would definitely recommend it.

Since we were staying at the APA Hotel, we decided to eat here Friday evening and invited other family members to join us. Used OpenTable to book a time. When our family arrived and mentioned our reservation, they had no idea about the reservation. But - the restaurant was quiet that night and we were able to pick a great table in the back. Services was top notch. The server did not have all the answers to our questions, but quickly returned with all the answers. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next night for drinks and a little appetizer. Apparently their bartender wasn't in so my husband went over to Bogart's, across the hotel lobby to get a cocktail and brought it back. The only complaint we had, which had nothing to do with the restaurant, was the LOUD karaoke going on across at Bogart's which annoyed the patrons of AOI. They should put sound barriers up.

We celebrated my husband's birthday and loved everything so much! Very nice atmosphere, excellent service, and food made us very happy and special night! We highly recommend Kaiseki for any special night!

Restaurant is open indoor dining. Clean and Authentic Japanese high end restaurant. Excellent customer service. Clean and perfect place for fine dining out.

Most authentic Japanese restaurant that I found in the NYC area. It's almost impossible to find restaurants like this. Highly recommend it. I love their Kaiseki courses!
