I am an avid snorkeler and certified scuba diver and I found this Museum to be fascinating. The amount of work it took together all the information and suits is massive. It's just amazing How brave people were in the olden times to stick those huge heavy helmets on their head and walk on the ocean floor. To me it's mind-boggling. If you have any interest in the history of diving you should definitely go there!

The History of Diving Museum is an awesome collection and history of diving... Drs Joe & Sally Bauer have put a collection of artifacts & knowledge together that will amaze you. If you have an interest in diving, have seen movie about diving and would like to learn a little more, even if you just like history of anything, this is the place to see & learn... Thanks to all that work there for your hard work in keeping all these artifacts immaculate for us to see!

We took our grandchildren here as this has been something we wanted to visit. The museum made it interesting for the little ones by having a treasure hunt. They had hidden playmobil diving figures throughout the museum and they had to count how many they found. We reported how many we found and they got a coloring book. I do recon this for history buffs and those interested in the deep sea. They have some amazing pieces and it is worth a visit.

I was very interested in going here as my husband and I are both divers. There was a lot of info and artifacts on commercial diving and diving helmets. I would have liked a bit more on development of recreational scuba diving. A good museum nontheless.

This is a must see. Beautifully put together with amazing items and informative write ups. The exhibits are well thought out and executed. Also an important note is how much larger the museum is then it appears from outside. Pricing is reasonable and well worth it for what you receive in return.
