The crew at Island Marine Rentals were wonderful! It was a very windy day, so we stayed in the ICW and I'm so glad we did. We got to see an area we've been visiting for years from a whole new perspective. The staff is friendly, courteous, and thorough in explaining the vessel features and local waterways. We ABSOLUTELY will be back!

I genuinely cannot say enough good about my rental experience from these guys. The boat had all of the required safety gear and a good chart plotter on board to make navigation easy. The employees offered to activate routes to popular spots, too, to make it super easy. I will definitely be returning and highly suggest this place!

Best boat rental ever! These guys are experts in their craft and have extensive knowledge of the Intercoastal Waterway. We rented a Bowrider which was in excellent shape. Before we boarded, we were given all the information we needed to have a great time on the saltwater. We watched an informative video, were given a detailed map, and had on-the-boat instructions from the Dock Master. It was our first time piloting a vessel in some years; having their instruction was paramount to our safe and fun journey. The price to rent was fantastic and we were able to afford an extra hour which gave us time to travel both North and South along the Intercoastal Waterway. Their gas prices are spot on (some of the other places way overcharge for gas... Island Marine Rentals is honest and fair). Our time on the water was an absolute joy. Every minute aboard the Bowrider was a pleasure, and we have IMR to thank for making our experience excellent.
Had a bit of a rocky start with my first time visiting them. A bit of miscommunication between their team and what they required as far as renter licensing and age requirements. This resulted in us arriving only to be told we could not take our rental that day due to age restrictions and lack of a Florida boaters license. When I originally made the first reservation, I was told both these items were not a problem and that we would be good to go the day of the rental. Despite this initial experience, I gave them another shot. (I think it was just one employee that was not the best) This time, the staff on duty was excellent. They made sure we had everything we needed for our voyage. The boat was clean, equipment was in decent shape, and the check-in process was smooth. We had a great time taking a boat up to Three Rooker Island. They definitely redeemed themselves here with their great service. I will be back someday soon hopefully! FYI I was eventually informed after my first attempt renting with them that younger renters need to be 26 or older (for insurance purposes) and have a NASBLA boater safety course regardless of rules in other states. Double check with them just in case.
