SOR Issaquah is wonderful. Two of our three children go there and they both love it! Especially right now with the pandemic it has given my kids a safe place to go and get out of the house and be around kids their own age. It has also helped them grow so much as musicians and people.

My daughter joined the Performance Program at the begininig of last summer and did the Motown Show in August 2020. She continued in the fall and just did the Hair Metal show in January 2021. She is thrilled with the quality and professionalism of the instructors. Especially during the coronavirus pandemic she feels very comfortable with the safety and physical distancing measures the school has taken. Overall she is happy to have a great experience and fun on the path to stage performance.

I rarely write reviews, but in this case I will make an exception. This is a top notch operation with a clear passion for engaging children musically and socially in a very safe and positive environment. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into hand picking these instructors. They all seem to have an innate ability to push the kids with positivity while creating an environment that promotes individual and social growth, self-esteem as well as the ability to totally rock! As a musician, myself - these guys all have my solid stamp of approval. One last thing I will add: During these uncertain times when we are all practicing social distancing, the SoR has been incredibly communicative, supportive and creatively agile, offering an online menu of options to keep the kids connected and rocking. I'll be forever grateful, because I know how much this means to my son. Again - I highly endorse and recommend these guys. Side note: They offer instruction and ensemble opportunities for adults as well.

This is where my son is a true star for a week! Killing it on the drums, bass and singing he is in his element and gets better and better year after year. He enjoys it so much, great instructors, fab show at the end of the week and great kids up on stage rocking out!! Its truly amazing to watch and be a part of. Highly recommend.
