I’ve been renting camera gear from the store for two years now. They are super nice people and a few of them are really knowledgeable on various topics. Usually people like to rent things before they consider buying them and this place is definitely a good choice to give your business to because they take the time to explain how to properly use all of the gear and if you ask then they can explain various scenarios and how you would handle them. As a wedding photographer I can see this please consistently has the gear that I need and I will continue to go to them as long as I live in Illinois.

Stopped in to purchase some lighting equipment after performing a google search for a local camera supply store so I could avoid purchasing cheap junk on amazon or ebay unknowingly. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable employee who made some great recommendations and pointed me in the direction of not only the right lights but made helpful suggestions on the stands, cases, tripod and cordless lapel mic. Since getting the equipment home I’ve been very satisfied with the items recommended to me.

II am really disappointed with the service. I have emailed several times regarding my items that were order 12/13 and still no response. I call and the only answer I have received is they don't know when it will arrive. This is piss poor service. Nothing on the website indicated that this was backordered. It would be nice to receive a phone call or an email apologizing for the delay and attempt to find the representative on a ETA,. Do better.

Had a very poor experience here. I visited the store to trade in camera gear. When I entered the store, I was not greeted or even acknowledged by any of the employees and I stood idly for about 5 minutes. When I was finally asked if I needed help, I was given a disrespectfully lowball offer for my basically new equipment (less than 1/3 of the price I paid for it). Needless to say, I will not be returning here again and would not recommend to others because of this lack of respect.
