We recently rented three bikes and a tag along and couldn't be more pleased with the service, the equipment and the location. Annie and Kim were courteous, patient and super helpful and were able to provide us not just with excellent bikes at a reasonable price but with the extras too (bike gloves, mounting for our cell phones, light reflectors for the kids). They have a large selection of bikes for kids of various ages. The location of the shop is right on the beautiful bike trail so it couldn't be more convenient. If you're thinking of renting a bike on a day when the shop is closed, try giving them a call as they may accommodate you if you let them know in advance.
Simple process to rent bikes and very friendly and helpful.
Made the reservation online and the bikes were waiting for us when we arrived. Staffer there was very helpful, wore a mask, and practiced social distancing. Wide variety.of bikes available.
We had a great rental experience. The rental price was very reasonable, the bikes were very well maintained, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed exploring the Cayuga Waterfront Trail by bike!
Overall great experience and awesome owner, but only problem was that one of the bikes we rented had a loose handlebar
Nice folks with good bikes at a reasonable price . Easy in and out . They provide locks and helmets with the rental so you're good to go and no upcharge. The bike trall is an easy and laid back way to check out the waterfront. You could ride the trail in 40 minutes but take two hours. Poke around ,get lunch at the farmers market and be a good tourist.
If you're visiting Ithaca, consider renting a bike from Ithaca Bike Rental, then explore the fabulous Waterfront Trail. Their rates are reasonable, and they have bikes in all sizes. Also, starting in October, 2016, you can take the Black Diamond Trail all the way to upper Taughannock State Park. The Black Diamond is our area's newest rail trail, and will be easily rideable with any bike.
