Nice, relaxing place to spend the summer days. Uncrowded pool is heated, so it's still pleasant when the days are cooler, but not too warm for lap swimming. There are always several lanes set up for lap swimmers, and a large shallow end (3'-4') and a deep end with a diving board. Tables and lounge chairs are spread all around, and there is even an area that get shaded by trees in the afternoon if you want to watch your kids without baking too much in the summer sun.

Great local club for families. This is a member-run organization with the quirks and benefits that come along with that. There is a very shallow fenced-in pool for the youngest children in addition to a large heated pool with lap lanes and a deep area with a diving board. For lap swimmers, there are early morning hours and a special membership rate. Pools use bromine rather than chlorine, so it is gentler on swimwear and skin/hair. Membership includes swim lessons and \swim team\ for kids. There are grills that are great for a cookout so families can hang out at the pool. Concessions include light snacks and frozen treats. There are regular activities (crafts, parties) throughout the summer. If you're in the neighborhood, this is an ideal alternative to owning and maintaining a pool; with so many other families, kids always have a friend at the pool.
