MY experience at Maguire was great. My sales person was very professional and answered all of my questions and concerns. We had pretty much worked out the details over the phone prior to my coming in so the in person process was very smooth.

This is much belated as the incident occured in Juli 2019 bu tthe service was so poor that I can not leave it uncommented. I had a burned out clutch while on vacation in the area. I was told that the car was ready on multiple occasions just to be called back and told that it was not. Even on the 4 hour drive from my home back to pick up the car (mind you, this is 2 weeks after I was told the car was to be ready and a week after I was told the first time that it was ready) I got a call that the car was not ready and not going to be ready that day and that in the face of me having talked to the same person (supposedly the mechanic) that same morning and was told that the car is ready and waiting. They were fully aware of me having to travel for pick up and I am certain I was just plain old lied to on multiple occasions. I would pick any other garage in town if I was in need in the area again.

My wife scheduled to see and buy an SUV that she wanted very much these guys decided to sell it the night before even tho she was asked about the stock number to make sure the car is available. So they sell the car and nobody bothered to let her know that car isn’t available. That’s not cool. Unprofessional

I went to Maguire Volkswagen for an oil change. After the oil change I drove home and noticed that there were oil drips on the bumper and on the Volkswagen logo. I cleaned the oil off and checked the dipstick. The oil level was well over the hash marks on the dipstick indicating that it had been overfilled. After removing the excess oil I discovered that there was almost a quart and a half of extra oil in the engine. I originally took my car to Maguire because it is under warranty and I wanted to ensure that there was nothing done with the service that could damage my car or its warranty. Instead I was charged for service that could have done significant damage to my car and had to spend time correcting their mistakes. I would not recommend Maguire for maintenance.
