Our 18 month old fell and needed stitches on her forehead. From check in to care for our toddler - the ER team at IU North was phenomenal. They were caring, they assessed the situation and explained our options and provided great follow up instructions. Thank you everyone!!

Had an unfortunate visit to the ER with my daughter. We received excellent care and felt like our concerns were taken serious and validated. This is our second experience at IU North Emergency Department and both visits have had excellent outcomes.

I went to take my prescription to the pharmacy and I noticed it had another patient’s information on it and the pharmacist wasn’t trying to give me my prescription because the doctors were unprofessional and instead of them giving me the right paper work they just crossed the name out and still accidentally put me and another patients name on my documents.... I don’t recommend this hospital they are slow and very unprofessional and rude....

IU North is a great hospital with an extremely poor emergency room. I've been here a ton but never as a patient myself. Extremely unimpressed by the overall manner of the ER care team and there overall lack of care. The hospital itself is 5 star but their ER is disappointing. Whoever is in charge of the ER portion of the hospital should know serious improvements should be made if they actually care about patient care.

We received a huge bill & never saw a doctor after going to the IU North ER for a traumatic head injury. We had 2 P.A.'s see our daughter and one had to get the other because she apparently did know what to do with a concussion. To top it off, a nurse came to dismiss us and told us that our daughter could "go back to school the next day if she felt like it." Suffice it to say, when we finally saw a real Dr the following week, we received much different input. We'll not be going back to IU North for emergency care.

Went to IU North twice in one week and left after sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours both times but never seen by a doctor. I have multiple breaks in my spine and in extreme pain but was told by reception room nurse that there are more people with worst problems than mine. Will never go back to IU North ER again.
