My husband and I visited the resort on a whim last week. Our room was fantastic, spacious, well kept, and the beds were really comfortable. However, we did have a poor experience checking in with Shelly, who was working the front desk. She was very rude, condescending and uninviting. Her treatment towards us almost deterred us from not staying, but despite our poor experience checking in, the rooms are great, the views are spectacular and we are glad we stayed.

The Red Mountain Resort is truly a desert oasis. It allows you to escape the bustle of downtown and take in a much-needed dose of silence. Not in the fact that the place isn't well visited, but because you are surrounded by nature. By the majesty of the Snow Canyon mountains. The staff there has been trained to the highest level to treat each guest as they would a longtime friend. The food is delicious. The firepit invites you to sit, to listen, to be still. The grounds are clean and well-kept. Basically, this place just was the best! Go. You will not be disappointed!
Fantastic place all do the room service is not the best the restricted the guests to order only on specific hours which for me is not practical at all other than that the place is great
I was looking forward to a stay at Red Mountain resort for an anniversary celebration but unfortunately my husband had a medical emergency that traded our trip plans for a double surgery. When I called to cancel the reservation (9 days prior), first they tried to keep my entire fee because they said it was within 8 days of the reservation. When I corrected the agent, she still charged me 50. I would think that an organization that prides itself on self-care and wellness would be more compassionate.
What a great spot to overnight on the way to colorado! Very tasteful development, blends with the stunning environment, great trails, cafe has super healthy breakfast options, pool was pristine clean, beds in room were super clean and comfy. 5 ,
With COVID-19 the pools were closed but the jacuzzi was open. Which was heavenly after a full day of hiking. The restaurant is spectacular and staff was helpful and accommodating. We arrived and the room we were given upon check in had not been cleaned or someone else was using it still?! The front desk staff was apologetic and upgraded us because of the situation. I would recommend this resort- free bike rentals for patrons, spa, activities, and much more.. We will be back!
We experienced several issues but the staff was super understanding and did everything they could to accommodate us. Merrick was GREAT. Big asset to the company. The other girl who was supposed to be helping forgot to show up to work, comes in 10 minutes to the end and starts blaming Merrick for her being late, and saying she needed us to leave because she had another appointment. That girl was an embarrassment to RMR and hopefully they have reprimanded her or let her go entirely. We will be back as we love it here, but hopefully we don't have to experience someones inability to work or accept responsibility for not showing up for our appointment, especially on a special day.
I’ve been here twice and looking forward to going back again this month. It’s a beautiful resort with breathtaking views, a first class spa and fitness center, an exceptional list of daily activities, and healthy, delicious meals. It’s also very affordable and the staff is amazing. Can’t wait to return!
