Needed help while traveling. Called around and no one could get us in quickly or they did not have a crybaby for our high conversion van. Called j&j they said come on in and they took care of us in 20 minutes and only charged us a half hour labor. Friendly and I am grateful for them.

I used them for inspection and liked there svc I decide to return for oil change and tire rotation. An issue was uncovered with an axle rod which was promptly reschedule the same week. Affordable and polite, I feel well taken care of.

Not only is the team knowledgeable and professional, they are courteous as well. They diagnosed my car's valve problem accurately and replaced it with the least amount of delay possible (give that it was a special parts order.) I highly recommend this group of mechanics and car specialists. They treat customers like they truly matter.

Service Advisor Ed changed the oil on a truck, did the state inspection, diagnosed and corrected a tire leak and diagnosed and corrected an electrical problem--all this for 77, which is about what I would have spent at my previous repair shop on hourly rates just for discussing the weather. BTW, I am no relation to, and have never met, that other W. Baldwin who reviewed this store.

Check out their ratings on Yelp to see ACCURATE reviews. I brought my car here that had rear-ended another automobile going at best, 10mph, but that's being extravagant as it was bumper-to-bumper traffic. I drove it for weeks before bringing it in. I drove it in to the shop because it overheated. I was told they didn't have time the next day, but the car still sat over an additional week. I was then told the radiator, the condensor, etc., were broken and that they couldn't figure out if it needed a new engine until they did that work first (work that would cost 1000, which they said was mainly labor). Again, it took a few more days only to be told they couldn't figure out the problem, but that it was most like the engine or could be a head gasket and that I should replace the entire engine (only 69,000 miles on it) with a used engine with more miles, which would cost an additional 3,500. The engine itself was only 1,200, the rest was labor and it would have more miles than my own. I sat I would take the car and have it looked at elsewhere and questioned the huge bill and needing to "fix" all these other things to make a grand only to tell me to replace the engine (the car doesn't book for that). Taking it to a garage in the family, I found out the engine did NOT need to be replaced. The car drives fine and has for weeks. Of course, the shop owner told me I wouldn't even make it home (15 minutes) away. There's no oil leak, no overheating, nothing. These guys were basically ripping me off. They even said part of the "labor" cost was running the car through "heat cycles" and when my husband asked how long it took to run it through if it couldn't run, they said, "Just a couple of minutes." Yet, you know, 1,000 later, it became part of the bill. Beware. If you need your car back quickly and don't want to be ripped off, do NOT go here!

I've brought several family cars to J&J for simple oil changes and annual inspections to complicated air suspension system repair on an S500 Mercedes Benz. All my experiences were first rate. Service was completed on time and within estimated costs. An excellent service provider.

They will inspect your car and say you need stuff to pass that are already fine to begin with. And add charges for things that other shops include in for no charge.

Was scheduled to pick up a UHaul after hours. Arrived to find that they had not left the key in the designated 24-7 box and ultimately ended up rerouted by UHaul customer service to the next available location, 30 miles away, resulting in an extra 100 or so in additional mileage costs just to get it to my original starting point. J&J never returned my or UHaul’s messages about the matter.
