I brought my car here that had rear-ended another automobile going at best, 10mph, but that's being extravagant as it was bumper-to-bumper traffic. I drove it for weeks before bringing it in. I drove it in to the shop because it overheated. I was told they didn't have time the next day, but the car still sat over an additional week. I was then told the radiator, the condensor, etc., were broken and that they couldn't figure out if it needed a new engine until they did that work first (work that would cost 1000, which they said was mainly labor). Again, it took a few more days only to be told they couldn't figure out the problem, but that it was most like the engine or could be a head gasket and that I should replace the entire engine (only 69,000 miles on it) with a used engine with more miles, which would cost an additional 3,500. The engine itself was only 1,200, the rest was labor and it would have more miles than my own. I sat I would take the car and have it looked at elsewhere and questioned the huge bill and needing to "fix" all these other things to make a grand only to tell me to replace the engine (the car doesn't book for that).
Taking it to a garage in the family, I found out the engine did NOT need to be replaced. The car drives fine and has for weeks. Of course, the shop owner told me I wouldn't even make it home (15 minutes) away. There's no oil leak, no overheating, nothing.
These guys were basically ripping me off. They even said part of the "labor" cost was running the car through "heat cycles" and when my husband asked how long it took to run it through if it couldn't run, they said, "Just a couple of minutes." Yet, you know, 1,000 later, it became part of the bill.
Beware. If you need your car back quickly and don't want to be ripped off, do NOT go here!
