Fantastic studio that motivates and educates its students. My daughter, a high school junior, decided she wanted to pursue a BFA Studio Art in her collegiate studies, but did not have even a first piece for her portfolio. J Art's Portfolio Prep class helped her to develop and grow as an artist while building her portfolio with a variety of captivating pieces. But it wasn't until the application process itself that we learned just how meticulously this class had prepared her. For her portfolio submissions, some schools asked for multiple Direct Observation pieces. Check, the J Art Studio class had covered it. Others asked for a wide variety of mediums. Done and done. Every specific request we encountered, her portfolio was already in great shape, showcasing her particular strengths. So if you or your child would like to build a strong portfolio in preparation for college admissions, then look no further. This is the program you'll want to attend!

My daughter has been going here for last 2 years. In 2nd grade, her art teacher at school gave her a 1 on a scale of 4 (report card)- it was the first time she had done so in her career. Fast forward to her 6th grade graduation, the art teacher is next to her mom the whole time talking about how she is the best student for her grade in school. Only change is Stephanie and J Arts, Centreville who brought out her creativity.
The classes are very good and very professional.
