Highly recommend J Wood Flooring. They completely remodeled a home for us. The put hardwood floors throughout, they retiled the bathroom floors and tub/shower, they refaced the fireplace, added a gorgeous screen porch, put in new cabinets, changed the columns, painted the whole house, changed out all the windows. They have also done work on another house I own. Jose, the owner, is always eager to please. He takes care of any question or request. He does work that he is very proud of and for good reason. I would recommend him to anyone. He is great with design and has nice people working for him. Truly, I'll use him any chance I get.

I am a registered nurse working on the front lines. Do not do business here. It was a simple disagreement over the stair railing stain color and Jose refused to make it right. Didn't even try once to fix the color to match the existing hand rail color. Ebony is not the same as weathered gray. Since you wanted proof that it does not match. I provided pictures. I am a registered nurse and working on the front line. I do not have time for games. I wanted your future customers to see Jose refuses to acknowledge these two rails do not match. All you had to do is remove the lighter stain and make it darker. Be blessed. I am blessed!

JWood replaced our upstairs carpet with vinyl planks and sanded, stained, and remodeled our staircase. The entire experience from browsing in the showroom to the finished product was beyond anything we could have expected. The showroom staff, Jose, and the entire installation team made the process wonderful. From beginning to completion, they were knowledgeable, professional, and considerate of our time and home. We spent lots of time meeting and discussing what we wanted with so many companies to the point we were about to give up on the whole project. Then we found JWood and they listened to exactly what we wanted with our stairs and flooring and with the recommendations they provided the project exceeded our expectations. So many companies told us they would not separate our flooring and stairs project and would not refinish our stairs, only replace them. JWood agreed to both of these things without hesitation. They allowed us to bring floor samples home with us before signing anything to ensure we were seeing them in our home lighting. During the renovation, the installers blocked off areas of work with plastic, as well as did as much sanding outside as they could to keep the rest of our home clean and dust free. They consulted with us with each step to ensure it was what we desired and were happy with the results. We could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend JWood to anyone needing flooring and stairs work in their home. We can’t wait to use them again for our next project!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE: You will be shamed, belittled and talked to in an unprofessional manner. There is no amount of money or discount that is worth being treated like trash. It is OK to disagree with but do it with dignity and grace. Jose has no idea what customer service is. If the customer asks for something to be done a certain way, it should be done. If the customer is then not satisfied with the results they chose, efforts should still be made to satisfy the customer. Demeaning and condescending comments are not necessary at all. If your project goes well then you will be fine but if there are any issues (as there usually are when dealing with contractors)you will be left unhappy with a final product you will just have to live with or get it redone on your own and pay someone else to get things to the way you want them to be.
