I have hunted here several times. If you do what they say, you'll have a great time. Don't guide the guide. This is all free range hunting and the game is smart so bring your A game. I found the lodging to be adequate and comfortable. I mainly hunt hogs and they have the biggest, meanest and smartest hogs I've found in Texas and I've hunted all over the state. Guides are friendly and seem to do a lot of scouting and recon for the hunts. I recommend this outfitter.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The \guides\ were a couple of young individuals who were so inebriated when they came to pick us up, it was surprising they could stand. The \accommodations\ were more akin to a converted shed, complete with rats, cockroaches, and the residue of chewing tobacco that had been spit on the bathroom floor. Two of our party did not see any hogs, but had a bobcat within 20 feet. These are experienced hunters. I realize game is not within the guide's control, but truth certainly is. There were many excuses given. I would stay as far away from this organization as is reasonably possible. Completely, utterly, and entirely dissatisfied with my experience.

The guide tried hard and was a good person. The outfitter, James, came to introduce himself and make sure we knew it was bad hunting and get his money. Bad weather , moon, acorns etc etc. he was there about 5 minutes and all negative. At that point I though oh boy. He said we could shoot all the hogs we wanted. At that point everything went down hill. The cabin was very small and not what the picture represented. 5 day hunt four people. I saw 1 doe. Another guy saw a doe and a 4 point. You would think a outfitter would know where the deer are. The only thing they knew was that the were not coming to the feeders. Never saw the first hog. Jack county is a 1 buck county. Should have been a red flag, realized this when I bought my license. On the last day they took a hunter to another location where they said he would have a good chance to see a deer. He again saw zero. This place was exaggerated by James, the outfitter. The quantity, quality of the deer, the stands and the hogs was not as he said. The deer mounts in the cabin were either Colorado deer or about 90 class just racks from his land. This was a complete waste of money. You see the outfitter long enough to get your money and tell you it bad hunting I call this place a zero. 8000.00 for 4 people plus tips for the guide, license and travel expense A terrible experience

If I can give them no stars I would. The experience was not all what James talked about. James came and got his money and then he was never heard from or seen again. The hunt was not at all what he made it out to be when we were booking the trip. The pictures on the website are not from them, our guide told us that. I wouldn’t waste the money on these people. All they want is your money. The pictures are a fake. They don’t care about your hunting experience like they say on their website!

Overall this is NOT what I’d consider a professionally run operation. Additionally lodging was poor, and amount of game was worst. Would not recommend to anyone and personally wouldn’t go back even if it was free.
