We've been going to Jackson a few times a year for decades and somehow missed this excellent museum. Now it's a must every time we are in the area. Great for all ages. Kids were engaged in a few areas. The mural in the classroom needs to be examined of you have kids. They love it. Highly recommend.

It was amazing! So many great arts and many were from 100-200 years ago.
Such a cool place! A must if you are staying in the Jackson area for a few days. An art gallery with hundreds of paintings, could easily spend 1-2 hours here. Divided into many different rooms with different art themes / styles. All of the paintings focus on wildlife art. We especially enjoyed the modern art room. Really cool stuff and affordably priced, definitely worth it.
such a fascinating experience learning abt all the history of new eastern-euro american settlers. 3 galleries, and a restaurant (for lunch) inside the museum, with a spectacular view of the valley
Extremely friendly staff! Impeccably designed and kept museum. It was lovely to be in the warmth and view the elk heard across the street while taking in some art. I'm not big on art galleries myself so I won't judge the pieces but they go out of their way to insure a hospilatible experience and it was very much appreciated.
Simply a must see if you are in Jackson. Fantastic collection of modern and contemporary works. Plus the view of the elk refuge is second to none.
Beautiful sculptures! It has real life sized sculptures of moose, bison, eagles, wolf etc. there are also abstract sculptures. this is a paid museum with a 15 free for general admission and discounted fee for veterans, military, senior citizens and free for children 4 years old and under. If you don’t like to pay, you can visit the free outdoor nature trail sculptures and just follow the path on the left most location of the property that loops around the area and ends in the huge eagle sculpture on the other side.
Great wildlife art. Worth the price of admission.
