I have played in and with BASL teams since 2004. This is a place anybody of any skill level can play. I enjoy meeting new people and expanding my network with like minded individuals. The league always tries their best to make everyone happy even though that is pretty impossible. They seem to really want folks to get out to exercise and have fun while enjoying the beautiful game. If you are looking for a fun, well organized, highly respected adult soccer league then BASL is the one for you

Played in this south Florida league for more than a year. It's well organized and fun. The referees and administration always manage to keep the games friendly and safe for everyone. Daniel from the league administration is always looking to help. Recommended to every player no matter the age/sex, they'll put you on a team that is a good fit for you.

From the beginning of my journey playing soccer with BASL I had problems of Brandon, it was stressful and most of the time disrespectful. Overall not a good experience with BASL. Poor communication overall. The rules should apply the same across the board, otherwise there are no rules. A couple of months ago I registered to play in West Palm (45 minutes drive) and once I arrived there, the field marshal Brandon, prohibited me to play for the time I was in, due to the numbers of players. And that was his answer, I had to drive back and no soccer played. This weekend I played, and the last moment of the game, where my team lost 0-1 we had a great opportunity to score but the opponent made a pretty rough foul. Our team celebrate because he had a yellow card, would get another one, and we would have a minute or so to score, turned out the referee was not giving the foul, he has finishing the game. So I went to talk to him and he said many things, so I did. But three days later I got a email from BASL DISCIPLINE saying that I got 5 days suspension due to (god knows why). Anyways, if you are looking to play soccer, try the ones that not pick on you.

The people that run the league are careless and money hungry, the referees hired have questionable skills that compromise the flow and fairness of the games. Situations that could be fixed with simple planning and respect for other teams are not addressed. It is infuriating to have two divisions (Winter 2020 7v7 Wed) A with 6 teams and B with 4, where especially in B other teams are not showing up and the other teams have to face each other twice. It is truly a stupid situation that the organizers should get a hold of but that they never will cause it costs them too much to fix simply by merging the divisions

I'm not a player (body is a bit too old) but have seen several games in the Southeast Florida area and am highly impressed with the organization, tough competition but excellent camaraderie. Both men and women interact at a high level of competition and friendship. When there any conflicts the organizational leaders are quick to resolve them in a professional, non-emotional way. I'd be very supportive of my children playing in this league. Wish I was younger.
