My son and I were trying to find something to do together that was not electronic as Hurricane Dorian was approaching. We didn't know if we would have power for a couple of days and wanted to try something new. I happened to be passing Lion's Eye while in the plaza and popped in to see what it was all about. The owner and 2 of his employees were setting up for the day and gladly stopped what they were doing and greeted me with a smile and suggested I come in later that night with my son and they will get us started with some beginners decks. We came in that night into a well lit, clean, and friendly environment. One employee sat down with us and walked us through our first game of magic ever. He took his time and explained everything at a pace that a 7 year old could understand and omitted what really needed to be omitted when first starting the game. After the first game we were hooked and the owners 2 children came over, introduced themselves and helped us play our second game and helped my son through the process. They didn't bombard him with crazy tactics and actually let him play his cards and then afterward explained why it was a good move or one he should have waited on. My son asks me on a regular basis when we are going to see his friends at Lion's Eye again. The team is currently helping me build a dinosaur themed deck for my son since he is into dinosaurs and magic so lets combine the two. It was a great feeling to have just moved into the area and find a place where we didn't feel like an outsider and were greeted with kindness and respect. Even random people who were just hanging out in the store sat with us for a game to build our knowledge. This store is now a comfort zone for us and highly recommend it to inexperienced and experienced players of Magic. This is also a great game to play with your child as it teaches creativity, strategy, and math. I highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone.

Very welcoming and fun store to be at. The store sells drinks and snacks for Extremely reasonable prices that we enjoy during our gaming sessions. Everyone here is very friendly and relaxed.

As the name would suggest, they predominantly sell and buy MTG cards. Each day that they are open, they play a different MTG format. The staff is welcoming. For the most part, the atmosphere is welcoming to all players. With that being said, new MTG players pleasr note that the majority of the players circle are seasoned and have competitive decks. We'll teach and provide knowledge, but we won't lose because you want to feel lucky on your first game of MTG.
