John is a walking wealth of knowledge. He is very genuine and has a great set up at his shop. I watch a lot from the ‘outside’ just by working next to his shop. I see many boats being worked on, people working together to move boats around, refurbs looking sweet, engines roaring at times etc. Off The Charts keeps busy, stays professional, and is always making everything surrounding them better. It’s good to have them.

Recommended by a friend, I was introduced to the owner of off-the-chart Boat Works, John, and he was fantastic to work with! I met first with his crew who gave me a tour of some of the projects they were currently working on which certainly demonstrated to me the quality of their work and commitment to Excellence on every project big or small. I am super excited how well the work on the bottom of my 1999 Shamrock turned out as well as repairs to the fiberglass. Looks like new!
Plays the bait and switch on prices. Quoted me 1000 when I dropped off the boat. A week later after calling them multiple times I finally got through. They said it's almost done and will be 2,500. If a job is going to cost 150% more than quoted, that is something that should be communicated before completing the work!
Off The Chart Boatworks did a great job on a fiberglass repair on my boat. John was very good with communication and pics during repair and turned it around quickly. He matched the blue hull and gray gel coat perfectly! Amazing work! He has a good operation with secure storage of boats and does high quality work. The boat was spotless when I picked it up. I would definitely use him again.
John and his team were fantastic, fit me in their schedule quickly, and finished in a timely fashion, and very professional. Would recommend them 100%. Called and kept me up to date during the process.
