My dog attacked a baby gopher tortoise. I brought it to this Rescue Center. My three-year-old daughter was so devastated they did everything to comfort her and make sure she knew they were going to do everything they could to help and Save the baby turtle. As soon as we walked in they started working on the baby turtle to try to help it . This place is amazing and I would recommend it to anybody they do everything they can to help the animals that come in and to let the people know they will do everything they can for the animal. My three-year-old daughter was so devastated when the tortoise was injured but she was happy and content with leaving the turtle at the doctor's to be treated they made her feel very comfortable and they let her know that the turtle was going to be okay and let her tell the turtle by they are very genuine people. I called multiple places when this incident occurred and these are the only people that reached back out to me and told me to bring the turtle in. If I could give them more than five stars I would they are amazing. My three-year-old daughter and I myself was very happy and content with leaving the gopher tortoise in their care.

What a big deception, I'm feeling very frustrated. I found one Opossum injured in my yard. I called this place and have just one machine. I grab the animal myself and drive 45 minutes to this place, arriving there what I found?? It was one total abandoned place. Looks like no body go there for so long time.. The yard is full of empty crate and they don't have one animal or person there. I just come back home with the animal and I gave to him the first aid care and left him go. As an ex volunteer of SPCA Wildlife of Bay Area California, I know what that animal was in need but I'm not able to give him without a professional orientation. YOU CAN IMAGINE MY FEELING?! Google and called so many places and zero help. I just moved to Jacksonville from California and I don't know well here. But I'm feeling so sad.

Big Thanks to the Wildlife Coalition! Thank you Ms. Barbara was able to take in momma raccoon and her 4 pups. She created a very nice habitat Where the babies will be able to grow up strong and healthy before being released back into the wild. Thank you Ms. Barbara, Mr. Brian Clovis for taking in so many baby raccoons! Lisa, Elizabeth, and everyone that helps these animals have a second chance! You’re all amazing!! Thank you! -Braden w/ Quick Catch Wildlife Removal

These people are Angels! Who else will help you, when you find infant possums that are one inch long? I saw the review that says it is abandoned. It is NOT! If you don't like the conditions you see, feel free to donate to them. I did. Thank you guys.

WRC is severely underfunded and is always in need of donations and volunteers but still manages to save almost 2,000 animals every year! They do the best they can with what little they are given. They are in need of supplies, cages, food, money, and at least 1/2 an acre more of land. If you can help in anyway please contact them!
