Jam Academy is a great place to learn music. Both of my daughters and myself have been taking lessons over the last 2 years. My oldest had violin and piano lessons with Sabrina and loved it. She loves to have a say in what she wants to do next and Sabrina is very eager to explain concepts and tricks in a very supportive way. The younger one was enrolled in the Rockin Tots program and had a good time, too. She is more shy but all the teacher we met were very understanding and let her participate at her own pace which was basically sitting on my lap the whole time :) I just started taking voice lessons with John and I have a lot of fun. He cares about his students, wants to know where they come from musically and the musical direction they want to go. He is very knowledgable and his positive attitude is very uplifting, especially during this strenuous Corona times. I can only recommend taking lessons there. Schedules are flexible and even if you can't find the perfect time right away, you won't have to wait long until a spot at a more convenient time opens up. Communication with the owner Chris and the friendly front desk staff is also easy and good. The best part is the voice mail announcement. You should give them a call when they are closed. It's worth it.

Spotlight studios is the best music place in Woodinville. Chris is an amazing guy and always works hard to make his customers happy. I have done guitar lessons, drum lessons, and vocal lessons over the last 8 years. My recent experience with John was awesome and he is a great vocal teacher, very patient and honest! Really enjoyed all my experiences with Spotlight Studios!

Jam Academy has been the perfect fit for my 8 year old who plays piano and cello. Sabrina is an amazing teacher. My son recently took a 3 week intro to string ensemble series with Sabrina and after the first class, he told me that was the most fun he had all week. That's saying a lot considering I took the kids to a skate park for the first time that week and couldn't get them to leave despite being frozen. This school has great atmosphere, good prices, excellent teachers. The recitals are well done too. Another bonus is that they are homeschool friendly! We go here from Lake Stevens 1 or 2 times a week because it is worth the drive.

If your looking for old time piano lesson with an old school atmosphere this is not the school for you. but if you want young fun educated teachers like Chris who teaches our son Jeff your search is over. Jeff loves to go practice and we can not say enough about Jam Academy. Thanks Guys,
