Dr. Schirmer extracted one of my molars and prepared the site for a dental implant. He and his staff were wonderful. His staff is very pleasant and attentive, and Dr Schirmer met with me before the procedure to thoroughly explain all the steps. He ensured the extraction was painless, and I have had literally zero pain and swelling following the procedure. His staff sent me home with detailed aftercare instructions, and Dr Schirmer even provided his personal cell phone number if I have questions after hours. I look forward to seeing Dr Schirmer and his staff for my final dental implant procedure in a few months. I read the negative reviews regarding the practice's billing process, but my experience was very fair and straightforward. A staff member took the time to check with my insurance provider to determine exactly what my part of the procedure cost would be and simply asked that it be paid either before the procedure (as a contactless Covid safeguard) or upon checking out the day of my appointment. Also, the waived 25 credit or balance that is addressed in one of the reviews is clearly outlined in the patient registration form and is an option totally up to the patient.

I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Schirmer for an implant. Certainly, not anything I looked forward to; however, Dr. Schirmer was exceptional in explaining the process and the entire staff was friendly with every visit and answered my many calls ahead of the procedure and during follow up. I highly recommend their services!

Worst office staff I have ever experienced!! Extremely rude and disrespectful. Their billing practice is completely unethical!! They charged me upfront, even though my MEDICAL insurance paid 100% for this. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR MEDICAL INSURANCE COMPANY - Some do cover wisdom teeth removal 100%!! They also billed my dental insurance! They were paid by both! They refused to bill the initial visit as a surgical consult - which is EXACTLY what this was and kept my 75 on top of being paid by BOTH insurance companies!! This is unethical!! We have fought with them for almost 5 months over all of this. Make sure you read your office policy - on top of ALL of this - they want to keep any remaining balance owed to you that is 25 and under to help their administrative staff!!! Stay FAR away from this practice.
