I give it a 4 because we had two sites.. sites are long but narrow! If we hadn't had two sites and put one rig in backward I would have been claustrophobic! But, who doesn't like being on the water? Left kayaks on the small beach and fished my heart out! Great base camp for West Yellowstone and other fun things to do nearby. Spent two weeks there, a wonderful family trip!

Nice people, beautiful location, great amenities and easy to use marina and slips. Been coming here for 16 years and I love it !!!

We were just looking for a place to sleep near Yellowstone and that's exactly what we got. The room was very small, but the staff told us multiple times what we were getting ourselves into, so no complaints there. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even when we had to change our schedule a few times. I saw another reviewer say the public bathroom was dirty, but it looked fine to me even with the place being packed. The location is great, right on a lake with very scenic views. There were a couple negatives though that I had to knock a couple stars off for. The bed was pretty cheap and/or old. I sat in the middle and it felt like I about sank to the floor. There was also some trash from previous occupants left underneath. Also, there is not a lot of food choices nearby. I absolutely don't blame the establishment for that, however they do run a small convenience store on the property which is not very well kept. Most of the canned goods for sale have a pretty good layer of dust and many are expired. I took a picture of a can of soup on the shelf that expired 7 years ago and a few bottles of sauces that expired 3-4 years ago. Quit looking after that. I realize it's a busy time for them, but to leave expired items on the shelf for years on end is pretty bad.

The owners were darling. The room was clean. It has a very nostalgic feel. We enjoyed it. I would recommend sweeping up the cobwebs walking up the stairs and walkway to the restaurant just so it’s more pleasing to the eyes. But Having said that. Bugs are part of a woodys / lake and are to be expected. NONE were in the room. And so there for I sleep just fine.

Great spot. They were quick to respond to our reservation request after we could not find anywhere to stay in our travel trailer in West Yellowstone. We stayed a week and we have no complaints. Beautiful view and very convenient place to stay for fishing as it is by the lake. Will return here in the future

I think they could do far better job than they do they should be able to offer fishing licenses so you don't have to drive down the road 30 miles... we had problems with our engine they didn't run right keep dying on us! And we almost ran out of gas. We did enjoy the day on the water and Henry's Lake is just as beautiful as I remember... the only thing different in 30 years is new owners....

We stayed in the RV Park of Jared's Wild Rose Ranch Resort in mid September 2020. We were fortunate that we were able to get a spot, because the reservation was made close to the date of our stay. Our original plans were to go to the Oregon Coast but were unable to because of the fires. We stayed in a full hook-up RV space, and the space rent includes WiFi. The "park" is like an RV parking lot. The spaces are close together. Management nickle and dimes you for services. A bag of ice costs 4.00. The showers are coin operated and cost 0.25 for 2 minutes. The park served it's purpose in our time of need, but that's about it.
