I have been coming to Jay’s studio for lessons for about six months now, and it’s something I look forward to every week. Jay is a practicing musician himself, and hearing him play a piece that you are about to start learning is pretty inspiring. Although he’s classically trained he caters to almost any style you’re interested in learning. He’s been teaching me jazz theory, and it’s the most fun I’ve ever had playing music. I am super happy I decided to start taking lessons from Jay and think it's cash well spent. If you’ve always wanted to play and really understand music, Jay is definitely the guy you need!

Jay is an excellent musician -- not only technically proficient but also in his expression. He is a wonderful teacher for all ages -- adults & youth. He brought out great enthusiasm from the youth group who want to sing in public again after their first experience under Jay's leadership. A teenager who is taking piano lessons from Jay is excited after her lessons because, as she says, \he's fun & I'm learning so much about piano!\ And she's right -- Jay's personality is very approachable, humble, cheerful, and quick with a laugh. I am thrilled that my musical path has come across Jay!
