Not anything like the pictures. It's old and run down. Definitely needs a makeover. The concept is a good idea, but it's not well executed. The people that own it live on the third floor and they are very loud. Lots of stomping around at 6am. Don't expect to sleep past that time. Expected a better experience than we received. Owner responded that I never stayed there, but I did. The reservation wasn't in my name. Not sure who is on the third floor, but there was a lot of stomping around above our room at 6am. Also, if you the owner would like to have people stay at this B&B, maybe don't get so offended by people's reviews. Take the good and the bad. Being rude to every person's negative review, isn't going to help your business. I honestly didn't say anything too bad about your place. And what I did say was not nonsense. Just because a reservation is in someone else's name, does not mean that the person writing the review never stayed there.

Lovely bed and breakfast. Its Christmas all the year round.
We went last year here and although the owners were very nice the place was dirty and the TV didn't work. The bed was super uncomfortable. We booked through hotel.com. the owner did mention next time booking through them because they could have book a better fit for our family. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, just not what we expected. Also the hot tub was always busy so we couldn't use it.
We stayed here last week, booked for 2 nights but checked out in just 1 night.This property claims itself house but even worse then motel.Rooms had ladybugs & beds are old and good enough to give you back pain.Better book motel rather than this place and save money.

Maybe the owners comments back to the reviews are the reasons people wouldn't go there?? If your hurting so badly for buisness maybe respond nice to people who had a bad experience with you?? I personally wouldn't book through you guys again just by the negative comments back you left.
Stayed here Saturday night with kids and grandparents. Place is as advertised. Fine for an inexpensive place in area. They have some large rooms which can accommodate as many as 6 or 8 to a room for a good price, which is a unique offer. Was quiet at night and beds were comfortable. Our rooms and the public areas we saw were very clean. Needs some repair/renovation (missing light bulb in vanity, shower had no light at all, so it was very dark corner, enamel on stove was worn off in many places, some of the "Christmas decorations" in the rooms are just sheets of wrapping paper taped to the door, those stick on posters, wall and trim painting is messy, we couldn't find any wash cloths in our room, odd inoperable sink in bedroom, etc.) Service was fine and the female host was friendly when we interacted with her, but it's not what you would typically experience in a B&B or lodge. Huge emphasis on explaining the "rules" of the house, including 4 pages to initial when you check-in. They don't staff the desk during check-in or check-out. You have to call and wait for them or find them -- and in the case of our check-out, it wasn't because they were working or helping other guests -- my husband found them having coffee on the porch during the busy checkout time. The only way I can describe it is that it sort of seems like the owners are not entirely comfortable running a B&B or may not have had much experience staying in hotels/B&Bs or working at others before owning this one. Again nothing outrageous, just struck all the adults in our party (who have traveled extensively) as odd. Our net is if you are looking for a basic, clean place to stay and aren't picky about things being quirky, rough around the edges, this place can work.
The place(room upstairs) looks good on photo. When we arrived, not what it looked like. Bedding is dirty and wrinkles like it just came out of dryer. Room has bugs. Bathroom is small and dirty. Shower does not work well. Owner got upset when I informed her. She said her kids are doing the bedding and laundry so they are not perfect. If I had known, I would have paid double for another place that will give me better memories with my family vacation. Service was bad and now I have bug bites on my legs. Read other site reviews and see if we are mentioning similar issues.
