Always a great place to stop and stretch your legs when driving Hwy 1. We stopped by on a early spring Sunday afternoon and many beautiful flowers were in bloom adding splashes of color to the idyllic scene.

If you love history, you will be amazed at how you feel like you stepped back in time. Oldest windmill site with a spectacular reconstructed mill on site. Bring your hiking shoes! Such an amazing experience with courteous State Park Rangers and staff.

Awesome place to check out had a wood windmill and a little hike to the cemetery. Right next to the water front.

First time visit and it was absolutely amazing!

Loved wandering the fort. Gorgeous location. Covered under the CA Historian Pass. Very nice employees, not too many visitors on the Sunday I stopped by. I'd come back and try to hit the tours. Fascinating history and beautiful construction.
