Because of the weekly train construction, you get free tickets for the ferry and it is super fun to ride. The scenery and the view make it worth it, though the trip takes a bit longer, it is still worth it! After you get off the path at exchange place, they give you tickets only on weekends, get on the boat and enjoy the ride! It is a clean area and looks very fancy, luckily, as soon as you get off to NYC your in the shopping area of NYC, extremely expensive, but some window shopping is enough. The boat ride is fun and smooth, I would recommend people coming out to ride it for fun, before the path is finished! Take the opportunity!
