Well I got here at 5:30am night shift was leaving and 1st shift was arriving so not knowing i pulled to the gate and stopped ?? I had to blind side back out of there parking area cars parked all around-then park in the driveway so don't do this if your there first appt 7am. An employee informed me of this. Will not start unloading until 6:50am check in for 7am appt. Someone should inform there drivers of there rules and put up a small sign TRUCKS STOP HERE WALK TO RECEIVING AREA. Also come to the 2nd entrance. 2nd man door beside dock 150. Ok i just walked in 6:48 the dock guy said come back at 7am they had to load there drivers first but we will see at 7am i was put straight to a dock / unload immediately . There is a few trailers and box trucks across from docks but nothing in a drivers way just becareful next time I will know the in's and outs All in all they were on the job !!
This location is made for day cabs, TIGHT, TIGHT, TIGHT. Would help alot if they would move there box trucks. No overnight parking, have to go to the TA 2.5 miles away. 7am appointment, unloaded at 8am
First time delivering here. I’m driving a 53’ trailer w/ a sleeper cab. Appointment was for 12 noon but I thought I’d try my luck and showed up about 8am. Luck was on my side & I was immediately assigned a door. The gentleman who checked me in politely informed me that their policy is to reject such early arrivals but since they were not busy they would make an exception. THIS FACILITY IS TIGHT, so please be careful! The door I was first assigned had company delivery vans directly across from it. I would never be able to make this happen. I kindly requested that I be allowed to back into a door more suitable for a 53’ trailer sleeper cab and allowed to do so. OTR drivers, if you are arriving in this area the day before you may want to consider RESERVING a parking spot at the nearby TA. Just sayin’......
