I have been training in Aikido for over 12 years with the majority of that time at Jikishinkan Aikido Dojo. Jikishinkan is a place of balance. It offers sincere and vibrant martial training with a traditional experience along with a warmth and joy for both the art and the people and community it brings together under its roof. Jikishinkan has a foundation that appreciates that dedication and commitment includes family and career as well as a sincere effort towards Aikido training. As a beginner, I was supported and encouraged to keep learning, trying and growing. As a senior member I receive the same attention and opportunity to help grow as well as to give back to the dojo and community that has given me so much.

This dojo provides a great experience! Students get a lot of one-on-one training time during class, the community is positive and focused, and the instructors are experienced and constructive.
A great place to learn and practice Aikido, whether you're just starting out or you've been training for years! Giammanco Sensei is an excellent, truly dedicated teacher.
Jikishinkan is an excellent dojo with a very supportive environment. The instructors and students all share a genuine enthusiasm for aikido as well as the philosophy behind it. The lessons I learned during my one year of training here extended far beyond my time on the mat, highly recommended.
