I have just started taking piano lessons at the age of 42 and my 5 yr old daughter is taking piano lessons as well. We love it! Uncle Donnie Young is a wonderful, patient piano teacher. My 15 yr old daughter has been going to him for approx. 9 yrs. I can't say enough good things about this man. If you are thinking about getting piano lessons for your child or yourself, I strongly recommend Uncle Donnie!!!

I've been going to this place ever since I was young. Everyone on staff is polite, helpful and eager to make each and very customer feel welcome. It's a great place to find used instruments and equipment for a reasonable price. It's a great place and I stand by them!!

Jimmy is very friendly and helpful. I took in a guitar that he repaired promptly, then gave it a through health check without me asking. The repair was very reasonable. I was very impressed with the care he took to ensure I was happy. Great Job

Jimmy's Music Center is a good business. Yes, its a "Small Town" music store...that means they have new and used gear, are usually willing and able to sell at very fair prices, and even trade gear for gear. The instrument repair/work they do is very good, they can do set ups, intonation, re-string, put in pick ups, re-string bows, etc. They might not be the best place to take very complex Luthier work, that always requires a specialized shop...if you need that, go to one! The owners are very friendly and polite to customers, the lessons staff are excellent musicians and have a full roster for a reason...they are great teachers. I have bought MANY guitars/Amps from Jimmy's Music Center. Its a good music store ran by good people.

I have excellent service from this music store, every time I walk through the door. The guys at the shop are more than greatful to be of help. Today I walked in with an old mandolin and Steve replaced the strings for me with precision and care. Thanks Steve.

Jimmys is great. They fixed my acoustic guitar and it looks and sounds better than when I first got it years ago. Best of all it was very reasonably priced restringed and all. They also have lessons and a selection of used gear. If your into music they've got you.

First visit I needed to have a sax looked at and checked to see if it needed new pads. The person there didn't have any information to help me and referred me to Conrad's music in Corydon. The second time I went I needed a new mouthpiece and the salesman was very helpful and efficient. So I guess it depends on who is there when you go in.
