Delivered a tractor here and reloaded with 3 others. Called ahead the day before and they were very helpful and knew of my delivery/reload. I was the only truck there and so no delays and they already had my reload staged and ready to go. There’s a brand new Loves truck stop less than 2 miles down the road which is good as I doubt you could park overnight at this facility.

Mine is a John Deere family. Grandpa Fischer had a John Deere implement shop in Meservey, Iowa and when he retired, Uncle Herman and his sons took it over. My dad worked in the John Deere factory in Cedar Falls, IA when I was born in 1937. Uncle Hugh had a 1936 tractor he bought from Grandpa the year before I was born. He eventually sold it to the young lady who helped Aunt Nora with her housework as she got older. I saw Donna at Aunt Nora’s funeral in 1996 and she was still using it. She’d traded the lug wheels for those with tires but the tractor was still going strong after 60 years!
