I had cancer and went here for treatment after surgery. My chemotherapy gave me a brain hemorrhage, my cancer medication gave me a stroke and the 2nd medicine gave me horrible stomach pains and cramps to where I was in bed for days. Perhaps all of this is what you have to suffer from Cancer treatment. Now after 3-4 years since my initial treatments for cancer, she is making me come in monthly for mammograms and / or ultrasounds. I do not know if this is standard treatment. But from what I have read, Annual mammograms are standard. I would not mind every 6 months or so. Just not every month... Just not in a good mood. I think the monthly mammograms are because I was deemed a high risk based on tissue samples.

I could not have asked for or expected a better experience than I have had with Georgia Cancer Specialists, at Johns Creek! ️️️ Dr \J\ Srinivasiah and her Awesome Friendly and FUN staff, are the most professional, knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, insightful and accommodating medical people I have ever dealt with, by far! I have never been to a medical office where there is such an efficient system of record keeping and reports printed, blood work taken and tested before you see the doctor and any necessary appointments with other doctors made before or as you reach the checkout desk! AND, then you walk out the door with a summary of your visit and what to do next! I had an Extremely RARE type of cancer and great research was done in choosing the BEST Protocol including the Surgeon and Radiologist for my specific treatment plan. I received excellent care and Kindness from Dr J who saw that all my questions, fears and doubts were heard and answered and that I was never rushed. I received excellent care and counseling from Claudia, the best Social Worker (another Angel with feet on the ground) who listened to my heart of hearts as often as I needed to get me ready and through this journey. The nurses are ALL outstanding and will put a smile on your face no matter how cloudy the day may feel! I was never treated like a number but always treated like a human being in a very unfortunate circumstance, in need of the best care possible, in the best timely manner, with the best hope of recovery, healing and restored health! I am forever thankful and appreciative of my cancer care in these loving, kind and experienced hands!
