Robert and I love this store, the owner and Bobby. It is not a cookie cutter bookstore with lattes and cappuccino. It is something far better. You walk into a piece of history when you walk in this store. Their collection of books is phenomenal, and they are so knowledgeable and always great to work with! We are thankful for the folks at Moody Bookstore and their treasure trove of books, newer and old. Highly recommend!

If your looking, they will most likely have it. Selection of religious reads is outstanding. Knowledge of Gil and Bobby is amazing. Best of all, the doorbell..she is an adorable four legged greeter. Says hello and let's you know you are welcomed.Will be back.
More books than you can shake a stick at and at very good prices
What a great and friendly bookstore. I live in Cincinnati but stop through Johnson City regularly just to go to this bookstore. Bobby is the greatest and always seems to have the time to talk. I like books. I like places where I can nose around and feel like I'm on a treasure hunt and I've found some real treasures here. Believe me, there is nothing like finding a great book and then getting it at a great price! This is not a \box\ store but you will really enjoy this place.
Best used bookstore! Beautiful website as well. Literally thousands of used books in all categories; the depth of books on theology, religion, philosophy, Bibles is second to none; also autographs (signed photos, bookplates!). Gil Moody is brilliant, as is Bobby, when it comes to their knowledge of books. Be sure to visit when you have time to get lost in books :)
