We selected John Michael Homes as our builder for our house in Cambridge, Wisconsin based on good reviews but mostly on a face-to-face meeting with Andy Weber and his associate Angie Kober at their office in Johnson Creek. Andy was very thorough in explaining the process of new construction but eager to understand all of our needs and what we expected in a home. The fact that he listened carefully to what we wanted and then used his expertise to suggest cost effective processes and selections gave us a very good feeling about the way he conducts his business. He looked out for us in the most respectful way to ensure we got what we wanted but also offered great suggestions so we could make decisions fully aware of financial considerations and our lifestyle needs. In addition, during the construction process, he kept us informed with progress photos and regular contacts regarding building, material, mechanical, and trim decisions. We always felt comfortable with his suggestions and really appreciated his straightforward manners. I would highly recommend Andy and Angie to build a home for anyone including for any of my friends. They did a great job and we are very happy with our new home.

We could not be happier with the quality of work provided by John Michael Homes! Both Angie and Andy responded fast to questions throughout the building process. I was reassured that Andy checked in on the building site every day. He knew what our plan was and worked hard to meet our expectations - and went beyond those! Every aspect was very organized and detailed so we knew all along what was happening. HIGHLY recommend John Michael Homes!

We met with Andy before we found land to build on. He was extremely patient and helped us get the most out of our budget. Having built before, we had very specific ideas on what we wanted. The last thing we wanted was a cookie-cutter house. Andy was very good at explaining how each decision we made would impact our overall results. He would tell us we could do anything we wanted to, but then help us understand trends, functionalities, and trade-offs. We started with one of his base plans, and we now have a beautiful custom home. Andy and Angie work in an open book environment, and utilized an app to keep us up to date. Pictures and expenses are uploaded constantly, and we never had to wonder what was going on. Andy is extremely particular about his subs and the work that they do. He made sure everything they did was perfect. Talking with the subs, they rave about Andy and all of the homes he builds which speaks volumes. People ask us if we would build again after this experience, and we would build with Andy and Angie again in a heartbeat. However, we built our forever home, and they did such a great job that we don't plan on ever needing to.

If you want a builder that will listen to you, look no further. We chose to build our custom home with John Michael Homes after researching and interviewing other builders. From the beginning, Andy was upfront about costs and how his process works. He was aware of our budget and worked with us every step of the way to ensure that we stayed within our price point while still building us a perfect home that went with our style and vision. Andy, Angie and the team were great about keeping us informed throughout the build and were even able to have our home finished two weeks ahead of schedule. With their help, we were able select a plan with quality fixtures that will be timeless in years to come. Andy’s attention to detail, flexibility, and overall attitude about his work made choosing him to do our build one of the best decisions we could have made. We are so appreciative and would absolutely choose John Michael Homes again!

Andy and Angie were wonderful to work with. They made it possible to get our dream home designed and built perfectly. They didn't get upset when we changed our minds on some of the design or finishes. We would definitely recommend building a house with John Michael Homes/Stratford Homes. We couldn't be happier!
